Ok, I believe I have the problems fixed for those users having problems with the site when using Internet Explorer. If you were having problems with downloading Blogg-X after registering please logout of iobinary.com and delete your IE cookies, close the browser, reopen and after logging in all should be working now. I have changed many things within the last few hours and am no longer able to replicate the problems.

The mambot also has been updated and should be more compatible with the site and may provide a speed increase while posting or loading articles from the remote site.

Here is something to check for those few that haven't been able to get Blogg-X working. Please ensure that the "blogg-x_server.php" file is set with "644" permissions on the server. This can be done via ftp or via the admin interface of Joomla!.

First I would like to thank my small team of private beta testers, especially MerlinBrasil, for helping and being patient will all my questions.  Blogg-X 2.0 has taken nearly every moment of my spare time for the last few months, but I think the work has paid off.

Some of you are probably wondering what happened to version 1.0, well I skipped it.  If the Joomla! team can do it so can I!  Just kidding, but with the amount of changes and new features in this version I believed it deserved the new version number.  Nearly everything has been changed both including the mambot.  This version also provides some additional security for site administrator with the requirement to verify username and password for nearly all actions.

Check out the main Blogg-X 2.0 page for all the information on the new release.  All download links can be found there. Here is the CHANGELOG.

The mambot is included in the Blogg-X 2.0 files, but is also available as a separate download.

Please remove any old versions of Blogg-X that you have prior to installing the new version.  It is also recommended that the Blogg-X folder in the "Program Files" directory be completely removed as well.

Blogg-X 2.0 will probably be released sometime on 9 April 2006. This release date is dependant on no remaining problems being found and that I get the rest of the documentation completed. Alot of work has gone into this version and I can't wait for everyone to give it a shot. Check back soon!!
